I posted about it last week, to your questions (spoilers)

K is definitely a replicant, and he definitely dies on the steps in the snow. Some people ask if he dies there, and I'm surprised they do because not only visually does it seem clear he died, but they replay the same music from Blade Runner I when Roy Batty dies after delivering the famous (and largely improvised) "Tears in the Rain" speech.

While at VT, I wrote a paper on BR I and whether Deckard was a replicant. For years, Ford has insisted he wasn't, and Ridley Scott has insisted he was. Depending on which cut of BR I you view, there are hints (in one, they make Deckard's eyes shine like Rachel's did, to hint he is a replicant).

The interesting thing to me in BR 2049 was that each time Luv killed someone, or saw someone killed, she cried. Almost involuntarily. Still thinking about what that meant.

Also, the reveal that K wasn't The Chosen One was well done, almost too subtle. I still wonder if he might have been the twin to the girl, and whether the movie's "switched DNA" was a double double cross to viewers.

Does the girl actually have a rare condition that requires she stays in that dome? Dunno. Is she human? Also dunno. The memory of the horse was clearly hers, implanted in K and maybe many other replicants. I wonder if that horse is a symbol for them all in the revolution.

I really hope there is a third and final film. This one hasn't done well at the BO, but it really wasn't expected to. There was a small built-in audience, and then a lot of the public wouldn't understand it. I bet it does better in DVD/streaming and overseas.

And the big question: What happened to the dog?
